  In January, 2004 Radio Universidad de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico's most important cultural radio station) began broadcasting the series Mayormente a capella (Mostly a Capella), produced by GD & E Orfeón San Juan Bautista Corporation. The program is transmitted twice a week and explores in each season a great variety of choral performances, both in the classical/academic and popular/folkloric fields. Its offer is truly diverse as it spans Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic, Contemporary and experimental choral music, as well as Vocal Jazz, Doo-Wob, and vibrant musical expressions from Latin America and the World. Guarionex Morales-Matos and Daniel Alejandro Tapia-Santiago are the program's hosts and occasionally bring along special guests.
